PASS Security engineers, installs, maintains, and monitors electronic security systems for commercial and industrial customers, specializing in access control and video security systems.

Our Strategic Accounts Division handles large, often multi-million dollar, enterprise-level customers supporting critical infrastructure, health care, and higher education.   We develop and maintain long-term, ongoing customer relationships to ensure a consistent and thorough integration of security systems and technology throughout an entire organization or campus.

Our project management team works directly with general contractors and key end-user stakeholders for the deployment and integration of new systems that are responsible for the protection of an organization's people and assets.


Job Summary:

PASS Security is looking for a Project Manager that will manage multiple large, strategic projects in the design and installation of commercial electronic security systems. This position will predominately handle projects within new commercial construction. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall successful project management to ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers.

  • Identify and set up project timelines and schedule resources accordingly.
  • Responsible for tracking project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for identifying discrepancies within project scope, anticipating problems, addressing concerns of labor resources and/or customers, finding solutions to problems, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Review job costs throughout project lifecycle to ensure project remains within budget.
  • Perform system design and work closely with customers, labor resources, and engineering to ensure that system is properly designed, installed, and functions appropriately.
  • Responsible for quality assurance of system design and final product.
  • Visit jobsites regularly to review project statuses, installation work completed, and programming and testing statuses.
  • Responsible for making sure that the right resources are identified and in the right places at the right times at all times throughout the project lifecycle, which includes all labor and materials necessary to complete jobs.
  • Participate in project and construction meetings to review project statuses and deliverables.



  • The ideal candidate will be experienced in Project Management and understand all aspects of project management, be able to effectively manage projects, be accountable for project success, and resolve any problems that may arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security system design and installation, which includes an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of systems, features, components, and related software and hardware.

  • Knowledge and understanding of low voltage, electronics, and networks.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical, including equipment, parts, supplies, tools, wiring, regulations, and codes.
  • Knowledge of new construction and general contracting.
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicant must pass a background check pursuant to Illinois PERC Card requirements for all security industry personnel.
  • Applicant must pass a drug test.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $90,000-$135,000 annual salary and bonus, commensurate with experience
